  1. I forget, did you make a video that talked about Marlene Mckinnon or that included her ship with Sirius in a list? I can't remember if you did or what video.

  2. I like making fancasts, especially for potential comic to MCU characters. Benedict Cumberbatch for Doctor Strange, If I'm remembering this correctly, was a legit fancast/dreamcast (for the possible sherlock puns with Tony) made real which still blows my mind! lol, but a few years ago I made a dreamcast for potential MCU Fantastic Four:
Jonny Lee Miller as Mr. Fantastic, Either Beth Riesgraf or Rebecca Romjin (depending on the feel you want) as Invisible Woman, Armie Hammer as Human Torch, And I honestly don't know about who would be The Thing. I feel like it would be a less famous actor or someone who's been in the biz awhile but not exactly a blockbuster and could hold their own and play best friends with Miller's Reed Richards, like Naveen Andrews
or something. (Honestly Michael Chiklis was perfect lol). And please, please DEAR LORD Goran Višnjić as Doctor Doom!

  3. Hey I know that this might be a bit of a selfish question but I would really appreciate if you did a video on the Dr Strange x loki pair, this is just a request so take it with a bucket of salt.

  4. EWAN MCGREGOR SHOULD HAVE BEEN MOVIE REMUS. This is the hill I will die on.

  5. In the Reylo sphere, Finn Wolfhard
as either a young Ben, or as his son, is pretty ubiquitous.

  6. Even if I love the almost official fancast, Freddie Highmore/Thomas Brodie Sangster for Lupin and long haired Ezra Miller for Sirius is just… Killa

  7. Oh, fancasting. I used to do this with a podcast called The Casting Game WAY back in the day. A few times I was lucky enough to get the authors themselves involved, like Tee Morris for Morevi, Phillipa Ballantine for Chasing The Bard, and P.G. Holyfield (R.I.P.) for Murder at Avedon Hill.

This was 9 to 10 years ago for all the episodes though, so I doubt anyone's opinions on those castings still hold up.

  8. I love fancasts of The Four Founders of Hogwarts… Those are always fun…

  9. Fancasts are pretty great and I find to be fun especially if looked at from filmaking angles, the vids are also great too. One of my favorite moments around the concept was when the author of Star Wars Lost Stars (Highlt recomend it as a read) fancasted the novel's characters.

  10. I stand by this fancast for Moony, Padfoot, Prongs and Lily – sad it won't ever be a thing but I hardcore stan it lolz

  11. Ahhhhh, this is such a nostalgic vid! I was quite active in Marauder HP fandom during that era, and I definitely remember how ubiquitous these fancasts were. (Aaron Taylor-Johnson as James and Karen Gillan as Lily were also the norm at the time. Peter varied a bit more but you saw Jamie Bell pretty often.) Personally these were never my ideal fancasts, but I get the appeal and it certainly led to some great edits, so no complaints! I'm also glad that we're seeing a bit more variety in the fancasts now, though. It's always kind of fun to see how popular fancasts get updated and refreshed over the years as actors age beyond the roles.

Right now, I'm quite fond of the idea of Suraj Sharma as James, George MacKay as Remus (seriously, watch him in Pride (2014) – he would have been perfect), and Sophie Turner as Lily. But even they couldn't really pass as teenagers anymore! So pretty soon it'll be time to refresh the fancast again. 🙂

  12. OMG I love this particular fancast! People are so talented doing fanvideos for wokfsart that I can't think about the ship without this fancast in mind hahahah
    Thanks for the video 😀

  13. i love karen gillan, but i absolutely hate her for lily evans. even though i have no problem with the barnes/garfield/taylor-johnson headcanons in theory, it does get very tiring to see the same actors/fancasts in every edit for that era.

  14. Before amazing spiderman came out I had fan casted Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker. I was so happy when it actually happened and so disappointed when they stopped making amazing spiderman movies. While I do enjoy Tom Holland's portrayal, Andrew Garfield will always be the true Peter Parker to me.

  15. Ah yes, I remember the rise of fan videos, probably my favourite form of fan expression besides fanfiction.

  16. I… really don't like this fan cast. Please don't kill me. It's just that I had a certain idea of how these two looked like and this was not it. Also, the Dorian Gray movie Ben Barnes starred in is kind of an insult to the original, in my opinion. I just couldn't stand the film. And Ben Barnes was soooo miscasted… #NotMyDorianGray. Anyway, for that reason, I kinda started disliking poor Ben Barnes, and I just couldn't see him as Sirius. I sort of hated him a little for a while… Sorry. And Andrew Garfield… Well, I discovered the fan cast arround the time The Amazing Spiderman came out, and I didn't have a very positive opinion about the film, so… Yeah, I think you can guess what happened. At this point in time, my feelings towards these two aren't as harsh, and I don't hate them or anything. I think they're talented actors, and they deserve respect (although I'm not joining either of their fan clubs anytime soon). However, I still can't imagine Sirius and Remus (Aka, my babies) as Ben Barnes and Andrew Garfield. It just doesn't work for me. But each to their own, I guess.

  17. 1000% behind Andrew Garfield as younger Remus Lupin and Dev Patel as younger James Potter. I do have a weird dark horse fan-casting of Dan Stevens (with dark hair) as young Sirius Black but I'm not opposed to Ben Barnes.

  18. 1. Sirius and Remus is one of my Brotp's, along with James and Lily being close to them respectively. I really liked that fan-casting when I first came across it years ago. It just fits so beautifully.

    2. I think one of the fun headcannons/ parallels I've come across is Remus being the reincarnation of King Arthur. It had some gorgeous art with it too.

  19. I have never heard of this fanon, it's interesting…I thought the whole video that Jamie Campbell Bower and Ben Barnes were the same person, please someone tell me i'm not the only one who thinks they look similar 😵

  20. The fancast of Urban & Bana for the Cut & Run books is what got me to read them at all. I'm so glad I did too. Now there is a script in development which is equal parts exciting and devastating because I doubt they can get those actors for it.

  21. I absolutely hate all these fan casts, they don't look anything like what I picture the characters to look like, especially Aaron who looks nothing like James, let's be honest.
    my fan casting:
Jeremy Irvine-James Potter(the spitting image of Harry Potter when he has glasses on)
Sophie Skelton-Lily Potter (because she's great and Elle Fanning is too young and Karen will always be Amy to me.
Sirius Black: Jack O'Connell (he looks just like Sirius to me when he has long hair and he is such a great actor
Remus Lupin: Thomas Brodie-Sangster (just because I like him more than Garfield as an actor and I think he will just fit with Harry Potter better x

  22. I can't believe I'm only just finding your videos!
goes on a binge watch of your channel
I've been a diehard HP shipper for a long time but only recently climbed on the Wolfstar bandwagon. You've just give me some awesome material to look up online, so thank you! 😉
