  1. Holy shit. That's some list 🙂 I haven't seen the Leprechaun movies in a while – something to re-watch. Event Horizon was scary for me when it came out. Maybe it's time to revisit.

  2. Prime is killing it right now with movies, way better than Netflix I'd say. So many good ones- There Will Be Blood, Green Room, Nightcrawler, The Blackcoat's Daughter, Bone Tomahawk, Good Time, Spaceballs, Escape From New York, all the India Jones' movies.. The Ghost and the Darkness, Monster, What We Do In The Shadows, The Crow, The Boondock Saints, Frailty, Society(an awesome overlooked body horror from the late 80's)… the list goes on.. Not to mention they have a bunch of really awesome Korean movies right now too. Prime >>> Netflix when it comes to movies at least imo

  3. I'm going to watch the room tonight

  4. Please keep doing Prime & Shudder. Looking forward to watching Event Horizon with some beers tonight!

  5. Amazon is better than Netflix for movies right now,IMO.I'm probably gonna watch "The Natural" again and definitely"Event Horizon" I somehow missed that one."The Running Man" is always great for an 80s cheese fix.

  6. Keep these prime videos coming!!!!!! Off to watch event horizon.

  7. Great recommendations. I'm currently watching double jeopardy, decent movie

  8. Suggestion: you could work movie references into your recurring coffee mug bit. "5 dollar milk shake" or "did you put boogers in this?" sorta stuff.

  9. MOUSEHUNT!!! Yes, I don't understand why people don't like this. To be fair, I didn't think I'd like it when I first watched it, but it was on cable, so…. I thought I would turn it off after a few minutes but was pleasantly surprised when I stuck till the end. I don't think I've ever watched Escape From Alcatraz so I'll give that a shot. Thanks for the Amazon recommendations. I for one am thankful that you are doing this, so I hope you keep it up.

(By the way, do you know if there is a way to see ONLY the movie available with my Amazon Prime subscription? I hate it when I see a movie I want to watch only to realize that I have to pay extra to watch it.)

What I wish Amazon, Netflix, and all the streaming services did was to show more of the 70s movies and directors. More de Palma, Scorcese, Coppola, old Paul Schrader (think Blue Collar). I want to watch movies like Rolling Thunder, Mean Streets, Parallax View, Blow Out … you get the idea. Of course, this is not a criticism of you and your channel, I'm just saying/venting.

    Thank you.

  10. So glad for the recommendations for PRIME! I had no idea the Disaster Artist was added. Currently watching it now!

  11. Love your lists, PLZ keep doing Prime! Also, prime has alot of obscure stuff, I got lost several times in certain genres i.e. Italian Giallo horror, kung fu movies, japanese pinky violence films etc. These arent great movies but I was surprised to see alot of restored versions, they look amazing. Also these are the movies that inspire our favorite directors. Meiko Kaji was a huge influence on Tarantino for Kill Bill and they have alot of her stuff there. Just a suggestion in case you need content in between lists. Keep up the good work my man!

  12. I have a love-hate relationship with Amazon Prime. I appreciate the movie recommendations and will definitely take a look at Iceman since I'm a huge fan of Michael Shannon. Keep them coming.

  13. wow iceman did fly under my radar…i luv michael shannon, but i did discover hes not bulletproof, because he couldnt save that awful stinking turd fahrenheit 451

haha fuck yeah on event horizon! i was expecting star wars and got the exorcist!!

  14. The Iceman looks pretty cool. Added that and Event Horizon to my list. Then I got The Disaster Artist coming already in my Netflix Blu-ray queue.

  15. Definitely like the prime lists, especially because I don't think its format is as good as others for finding movies. I'll go between prime and Netflix on a lot of your Netflix recommendations just for how much things are pulled and added to services through time.

  16. I will definitely be spending more time on prime this month ! Thanks dude🤘🏻

  17. Event Horizon is off the charts. Gonna watch The Iceman. Hard Rain is on my watchlist. Probably will check out The Running Man and Breakdown too. So much to watch.😫But, I'm glad. Thanks dude!👍🏼👍🏼

  18. I love running man, all of the 80's Arnold and Stallone over the top action movies are fantastic. They don't make movies like they did then I miss that and I'm 31 my dad's 57 we still love to watch mousehunt it is shot beautifully and it's one of the movies I cry from laughing so hard the two leads kill playing off of each other.

  19. Not much of a commenter but … I really appreciate your recommendations. I usually jump platforms monthly for things in particular. Having your list only adds to my viewing pleasure. Thanks, Pete.

  20. Are you sure the Kurt Russell "Breakdown" is the one added to Prime and not the 2016 "Breakdown"?

  21. yes keep going prime etc. liked the video . more movies the better

  22. I've seen ICE MAN and EVENT HORIZON a long time ago. But I'll watch again tonight … Did you know the movie RUNNING MAN was based on a STEPHEN KING book; Directed by PAUL MICHAEL GLASER (STARS KY & HUTCH TV show??

  23. Exellent list here (turning on the Disaster Artist as we speak) "Oh hi mark"

As far as doing amazon prime lists. I say they are the most helpful. You can find stuff on netflix. But digging through amazons library. Is probably its biggest drawback. Im all for more amazon prime lists

  24. Great list! Looking forward to best prison films. But Shawshank? I don't understand why people liked it. Loved the novella but the film didn't do it justice. Some of my fave prison flicks are Cool Hand Luke, Brubaker, the Longest Yard and Papillon. Midnight Express is also awesome. As usual they are all 70s flicks. I can't think of a contemporary one for the life of me. Awesome vid as usual.

  25. Thanks and keep doing Amazon Prime stuff. I am going force my boys to watch Mouse Trap (the madness of Lee Evans the English Jerry Lewis?) And Space Jam. i could move on to Who framed Jessica Rabbit sorry Roger. I will be watching Jessica.

    Just keep do ya thing.

  26. I can't believe I haven't seen Event Horizon. I can remember seeing the trailer and wanting to see it. Please continue with the Prime recommendations!

  27. I really like that you do the amazon prime ones just for variety. As soon as you said escape from Alcatraz I was on it.👍🏻

  28. Awe, Mouse Hunt. I spent many afternoons in my childhood watching that with my grandfather.

  29. Darren-just checking out the master list of Amazon Prime, if you ever do anything about 70's cult horror on streaming platforms, be sure to include Burnt Offerings (1976), a kooky atmostpheric flight flick with Karen Black, Oliver Reed and Bette Davis

  30. Oh Penitentiary 3 going on my list too, maybe I’ll do a shout out to all the Penitentiary movies, marathon em all

  31. Thank you. I do appreciate your Amazon Prime lists (as well as Netflix). Would you consider doing a Xfinity (Comcast) On Demand list, showing the new best free movies at the moment or to come soon?
